    **Forest School**

Following Government guidance to use outdoor space as much as possible, we have timetabled each class to visit the Forest School area each week.

As the weather changes for the Autumn, your child will need some wellies or old shoes to wear on these days to stop their school shoes getting wet and dirty.

Please send these to school on your child’s Forest School day in a named, plastic carrier bag.

    Thank you.

**Reception - Meet the Teacher – Monday 7th to Friday 11th September**

Thank you to everyone who has booked an appointment to meet their child's new teacher. Here are a few guidelines to follow to keep everyone safe.

Only one parent and one child to attend the meeting please.

Parents and children must only attend if they are well. Anyone with symptoms of Covid-19 must remain at home in self isolation.

Teachers will meet you at the outside waiting zone at the start of your appointment time. The Reception waiting zone is the grass area to the right of the path inside the pedestrian gate as you enter from Glenthorne Avenue. If more than one parent attends, extra parents will be asked to wait outside.
Inside the building, 2 metre distancing must be maintained. Parent and child must use hand sanitiser before entering the classroom.

Chairs will be set out 2 metres apart in the classroom.

Parents must not touch anything whilst being shown around the classroom. Children may play with classroom toys after using sanitiser.

At end of meeting, parents to put their chairs onto a ‘used’ pile. At the next meeting, the teacher will set out new chairs from a ‘clean’ pile.

Tables will be cleaned between meetings.

Masks do not need to be worn as 2 metre distancing will be maintained.

Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to meeting you!
