Helping Your Child Keep a Healthy Smile
Keeping your child’s teeth clean and healthy is an important part of their everyday routine. Brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste helps keep teeth strong and free from cavities. What children eat also makes a big difference — foods like fruit, vegetables, cheese, and whole grains help protect their teeth, while too many sugary snacks or drinks can cause decay. Try to keep sweets and fizzy drinks as special treats, and offer water or milk instead. With regular brushing and healthy eating habits, your child can enjoy a bright, happy smile that will last a lifetime!
Within Pre-School we work with Big Brush club, an NHS service, provided by ‘At home dental’ to support children cleaning their teeth, once a day while in our care.
