My name is Lauren Heasman and I am the PFSA at Milford Infants School.

What is a PFSA?

Parent & Family Support Advisors are appointed to provide direct support to young people and their families.  The PFSA can help in a variety of ways including school attendance, participation, behaviour management and parenting.  Additionally, a PFSA can support parents accessing other agencies.

Aims of a PFSA:

• To promote communication between home and school.
• To increase attendance and outcomes.
• To provide information, support and advice to parents in relation to outside agencies and groups.
• To access food parcels.
• To promote the participation and partnership working of home and school.

If you would like support, you can speak to your child’s class teacher or SENCO and ask them to make a referral to our PFSA.

My working hours are:

Tuesday & Wednesday 8:30am - 3:15pm

Friday 12:00pm - 3:15pm
